The floral patterns are woven with additional weft zari or silk yarn going back and forth across the motif to create a stain effect over the motifs. Brocades are ornate, richly woven fabrics. The pattern is usually emphasized by contrasting yarns. Pretty gold-brocade "VIVAGHA KANCHI PATTU" is accentuated with gold intricate weaving tiny floral-paisley. It has a gold weaving peacock motifs border and pallu enhanced with a gold tiny diamond motif, followed by peacocks.
